This hypothetical project involves translating the same information in three ways: in poster, brochure, and web. Three speakers from different disciplines were selected for the content, and the visual style was heavily influenced the the speaker's backgrounds and work. I chose to title the series "Uncommon Remarks," as a play on words. My three speakers, Jan Gehl, Ricky Gervais, and Sarah Sze, all transform the common and ordinary world around them in exciting new ways through their creativity.

Type specimen book designed with Nick Emrich and Kristina Dymond.
This project was done as part of John Bielenberg's Project M Blitz. Ideation for the MuckLab came out of a week-long immersion in Belfast, Maine. After discovering a local legend, we came up with a branded and multi-faceted exhibit to reveal the tale. The opening night of the exhibition included story-telling, physical artifacts, a photo booth, video, t-shirts, posters, buttons and zines. This project was made in collaboration with Stephen Edmond, Diana Zhang, Elizabeth Beasley, Ryan von Dohlen, Colin Dunn, Emily Burtner, Christine Brown, and Stephanie Indrajo, under faculty advising from Ryan Clifford.
These are various design projects that utilize image and type. The poster dimensions are 24"x36". The first type specimen books deals with experimental type using the typeface, Caslon. The second type specimen book showcases the history and applications of Slab Serif fonts.
